Nadia takes part in the Istanbul Cup. It will be her last tournament before the French Open. The Grand Slam, where Nadia reached her best result at a Grand Slam so far.

We wish her good luck at both tournaments and hopefully she'll stay healthy and bring some good results finally.

Nadia is finally back on the Tour and she'll play her first round match at the Qatar Telecom German Open against Katarina Srebotnik from Slovenia.

We wish her good luck and hopefully she's really fit again.

After playing only 3 games in Miami, a right quad strain stopped Nadia from finishing her first set against Zheng Jie.
This year the Season ends up with an YEC without Nadia, because she was too often injured this year. We all wish you Nadia all the best and that you have a great vacation!

All our best wishes to you Nadia!

Nadia has a new clothing sponsor: Replacing Addidas is French Label "Airness", founded in 1999. Since the Season 2006/07 some French Football Clubs have a sponsorship deal with Airness, also FC Fullham (England) and Boavista Porto (Portugal). Also after the Open Airness made a deal with Nadias russian colleague Nikolai Davydenko.

This past week was a wonderful week for Nadia! After a few very difficult weeks, she was finally able to show what a world-class player she is! After she beat Anna-Lena Groenefeld and Daniela Hantuchova n two straight sets, she had to play against Svetlana Kuznetsova. In 2004 she lost two matches, but this time she played very well and won in 3 sets. In the finals, she played against Tatiana Golovin Although she has never won against her, this match was very close. It was decided by a tie-breaker in the 2nd set. Hopefully now she will have a little time to enjoy her new Porsche!

Very well done Nadia!
Nadia's injury is still there so she has to loose in the first Round of Roland Garros with her injury, which handicaps her more than expected and now she has withdrawn from Eastbourne and from Wimbledon, because it would make no sense to play injured there and risk too much for these tournaments.

All our best wishes to you Nadia!
