Nadia has withdrawn from Rome, because she needs some rest for a few days before the French Open, let's hope that she will be 100% fit for Roland Garros.
Unlucky Nadia lost today against Maria. Also a few close balls against Nadia were in this match, so she lost the first set after 2 set points 6:7 ... after that Maria played a bit better and so Nadia lost this one 4:6.

Nadia couldn't play the match until the end, because she retired at 6:3 4:6 1:2. Nadias left thigh was strapped.
Today it was her first round Match against Davenport. Nadia is in LA without her former coach Glen Schaap. She said that the mental support was to less under him, so she has now to find a new coach.
Nadia's new Coach is the 31 year old Alexsande Mityaev. As told here in November already she had split with her old coach Glen Schaap. ... so in 2006 ... new year ... new coach ... more wins ... !?
Now it's official that Nadia is under the Top 8 and allowed to play at the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour Championships. After Henin-Hardenne retired, Nadia is now number 7 in the Race and has herself qualified for the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour Championships presented by Porsche
